Choose the best ROW ON for you:
- The MOJO 18 is our performance-driven rowing board, providing aspiring rowers with the best rowing experience on the water. This long, narrow board was designed with a 4° V-Bottom and a rocker line, which turns every rowing stroke into effortless gliding. Compared to a racing skiff with a hard shell, the design of the hull of the MOJO 18 is very forgiving.
- The large volume of the DUDE 18 provides more stability and enables effortless gliding with passenger, double sculls or alone. The DUDE 18 is therefore perfect for longer rowing tours, alone or in company. Now there is nothing that can get in the way of your rowing experience with your friends, family member or training partners.
- Our newest board the AIRSKIFF 17 is the sporty one - it takes your rowing adventures to a new level. The AIRSKIFF 17 is narrow and lightweight, its two side air chambers offer you stability and safety. Well suited for rough waters, suitable for one rower.
- Our lightweight board for rowing and stand-up paddling is the LITE 15. This compact, lightweight and maneuverable board enables an effortless rowing experience for one person.
- The AIRKAYAK 16 is also ideal for learning to row. The sidewalls give you additional safety so you can take the whole family, including grandchildren and luggage, with you. You can enjoy a healthy rowing technique and learn to row easily.
Yes it is. Thanks to the design of the high quality, innovative joints, the same speed is achieved as with reverse rowing, completely without loss of power or energy. In addition, the RowVista® oars are even easier to use than classic oars because they are mounted on ball bearings. The reason why you get blisters on your hands using standard oars is because the sculling sleeve and collar are relatively difficult to rotate in the rowlock. With RowVista® oars you are much less likely to develop blisters.
RowVista® offers you a high level of safety. Facing forwards, there is no way that you can overlook an obstacle, rock, swimmer or other boat. Rowing with RowVista® is precisely as fast as with RowMotion®, the classic reverse rowing system. RowVista® is a high strength system built from high quality materials: anodised aluminium that is resistant to sea water, castings, carbon oars. You can row for thousands of kilometres trouble-free.
Setting up ROWonAIR® products is a matter of clicking and slotting the mechanisms into place - it is quick, easy and no tools are needed.
The Rowing Skid – RowVista® or RowMotion® – takes less than 2 minutes to assemble.

Yes, RowVista® and RowMotion® rowing systems are highly versatile and can be mounted on almost all common SUP boards (inflatable and hard shell) as well as on inflatable kayaks – including models from other brands such as Naish, RedPaddle, Mistral, BIC Sports, Fanatic, Starboard, Jobe, JP Australia, KXone Slider, BIC YakkAir Full HP, or Sea Eagle RazorLite.
What should I consider?
In general, the longer your board or kayak, the smoother and more efficient the rowing experience will be. A longer hull improves tracking, speed, and overall performance. We therefore recommend a minimum length of 12' (3.6 m).
How do I install the system on a SUP board?
For SUP boards, use the flat outrigger.
There are two mounting options:
- Using universal straps (standard solution):
Thread the straps through the openings in the support feet, wrap them around the board, and tighten them securely. This method is quick to install, removable, and does not require any modification to your board. - Using D-rings (fixed mounting):
The rowing skid is attached to D-rings using integrated straps with stainless steel hooks. The D-rings are fixed to the board using PVC glue. - The required mounting accessories (universal straps or D-rings including PVC glue) are available from us.
How do I install the system in a kayak?
For kayaks, use the deep outrigger.
Before installation, you should check whether the outrigger dimensions fit inside your kayak – you can request the exact dimensions of the rowing skids from us at any time.
- For mounting, D-rings are attached inside the kayak using PVC glue. The system is then secured using the integrated straps with stainless steel hooks.”
- The required mounting accessories (D-rings including PVC glue) are available from us.

The rowing boards MOJO 18 and DUDE 18 can be rowed alone, with double sculls or with a passenger.
Unfortunately, due to their length, it is not possible for two people to row at the same time on the AIRSKIFF 17, AIRKAYAK 16 and LITE 15. However, with the AIRKAYAK 16 you can take up to two passengers on board. Other SUP board manufacturers offer longer inflatable boards, on which it might be possible to install two of our rowing systems (RowVista® or RowMotion®) so that two people can row at the same time.

The Flexfoot upgrade (item #087 824) is manufactured by Concept2 and is very popular among rowers. One of its key advantages is the adjustable heel height, allowing you to fine-tune your foot position individually. This is particularly beneficial for rowers with very large or very small feet. It is also an excellent option if you prefer to row barefoot.
The carbon seat upgrade (item #087 820) provides more direct power transmission, resulting in less energy loss and a more precise rowing feel. The standard seat, on the other hand, is slightly softer and therefore more comfortable - especially for longer sessions.
For additional comfort, we recommend using the Row Pad (item #980 633) together with the carbon seat.
Yes, all upgrade components can be installed at a later stage. Simply contact us directly and we will be happy to provide you with a customized offer.
Please note, however, that it is usually more cost-effective to order the desired upgrades together with your rowing boat.
The safety oarlocks on the carbon rigger are mounted at slightly different heights as standard (8 mm, left over right). With the spacer kit (item #087 822), you can further adjust the height of the oarlocks on each side individually in 5 mm increments, up to a total of 25 mm. Many rowers prefer an uneven height to achieve a more ergonomic hand position. The spacer kit is also commonly used by taller rowers (typically from around 185 cm / 6'1") for additional adjustment.
If you are unsure whether you need the spacer kit, you can easily order it at a later time.
Look after your inflatable SUP, skiff and kayak carefully and it will serve you well. Ideally you should wash it with clean water after each outing and roll it up loosely and protect it against direct sunlight while in storage. Inflatable SUPs, skiffs and kayaks should not be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods while in storage. They should be kept in a cool and shaded location to ensure that you will be able to enjoy them for a long time.
Intense sun exposure can cause the air inside to expand, resulting in increased pressure that could damage the board.
When storing in direct sunlight, you should observe the following instructions:
- Never leave your inflatable rowing board inflated to maximum pressure in direct sunlight for extended periods, as this could potentially lead to the board bursting.
- When not in use, release some air from the board and place it in the shade to prevent overheating.
If you follow these instruction, your ROW ON will last a long time.
You can store them rolled up in a bag, inflated, or lightly rolled. If you are not going rowing but want to store it inflated, we recommend that you reduce the pressure slightly.
